Get to know the dedicated professionals at Pecan Grove Dental. Our team, led by Dr. Loretta Anekwe, is comprised of experienced and compassionate dental experts committed to making your dental experience as comfortable and effective as possible.
Our Doctor
Dr. Loretta Anekwe
Dr. Anekwe was born in Lagos, Nigeria but spent most of her formative years in Northwest Indiana. Her inspiration to pursue dentistry was derived from a commitment to provide a better dental experience for patients than she had growing up. She is also equally driven by a personal mission to offer exceptional oral health care in a warm, patient-centered environment.
Dr. Anekwe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in biology and chemistry, from Indiana University Northwest. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and went on to further expand her knowledge and skillset by completing a General Practice Residency at St. Vincent’s Charity Medical Center/Cleveland Dental Institute in Cleveland, OH.
After training, Dr. Anekwe and her husband transitioned to the Northeast Dallas area to be closer to family and have planned to make this home for the foreseeable future.
Dr. Anekwe enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to lifelong learning by staying up to date with advances in dentistry and routinely completing a variety of continuing education courses. She values the ability to build long lasting relationships with patients and she also enjoys watching the transformation that occurs when oral health meets form, function and aesthetics.
Dr. Anekwe is married with a beautiful daughter. She enjoys reading, staying active and discovering delicious new dishes with friends and family.

Meet Our Staff
Dedicated Professionals
Robin
Office Manager
Robin received her RDA from Collin County Community College in 2008. She worked as a chairside assistant and clinical manager for 13 years in pediatrics as well as with those with special needs and high anxiety. Robin came to us in 2021 and was active in all parts of the office. She proudly took position as Office Manager in 2023. She is married with 4 children and loves the family dynamics of home and the office. In her free time, she works in the community recovery programs and church.
Jodi
Dental Assistant
Jodi received her RDA at Grayson County College in 1978 and has been serving patients in our community ever since. She is passionate about the personal attention she gives to each of her patients as she assists many of our Dr’s at our various locations. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, caring for her pets and enjoys the scenery of nature riding her motorcycle.
Julie
Dental Hygienist
Julie received her Dental Hygiene degree from Marquette University and has been in the dental field for over 35 years. She takes time with patients to educate them about maintaining good periodontal health, while also building long term relationships.
When not talking teeth, Julie enjoys traveling with her husband and kids.
